Cape Town Escape

In February we had a visit from our lovely friends Lynette and Suzanne from England. The Shut at the mill had begun and Andrew was keen to get me out of the apartment so he could work all hours of the day and night.  I obliged, went south, and joined Lynette and Suzanne for a tiki tour of Cape Town and the South Coast.

A view of Table Mountain from the docks. We loved the red Man built out of   crates.

Cape Agulthus. The Southern most tip of  Africa. The Indian Ocean is on the left the Atlantic on the right.

Cape of Good Hope. I always thought this was the Southern tip but no!

A rugged view of Table Mountain from Kirstenbosch  Botanical Gardens

Nelson Mandelas cell on Robben Island.

Cute African Penguin!

On top of Table Mountain. You could be walking anywhere until look over the edge and see the city spread out below you.
