Family/Holidays/ChristmasBirthday December 2012

It has been awhile since I added to the blog. We have had so much fun with the family visiting over December-January I have spent very little time on the computer.

Sam arrived early in December and stayed for 6 weeks. Kirstin, Anthony and Charli came on December 22nd and were with us for two weeks.  The weather was not always favourable but we packed in as much as possible in that time.

We had a fairly quiet Christmas "At home" enjoying the each others company and the pool at Sufubi. On the 26th of December we headed for Pezulu, a game lodge on a private reserve next to Kruger Park We stayed for 3 days and celebrated  Sam's 21st there. All the 'rooms' were tree houses which over looked a large open grassland. We saw zebras and buck there every afternoon. The high light of Sam's birthday was the game drive  Kirst, Ant and he went on. It was a brilliant evening, their guide was excellent and they saw all manner of wild life from dung beetles to lions.
New Year saw us back at Sufubi. We celebrated with drinks on the rocks and a braai with friends.
