Hoedspruit

Last Saturday we checked out the Hoedspruit area. It is the centre of the private game parks and where we are going to spend Samuel's 21st birthday in December. We were unable to stay at the lodge we have booked for Sam's birthday so instead tried the Khaya Ndlovu Lodge. It was very posh, a bit too upmarket for us but we made sure we enjoyed the luxury for the weekend.
They had three little meerkats and a baby bushbuck that played around the lodge, very cute! A water hole was just outside the electric fence. It was a great place to watch the animals come and drink.

Hoedspruit is close to the Drakensburg Mountains and the scenery is spectacular, so we had a slow drive home!

About as cute as you can get!
